Do I need a sleeping bag?

No. Clean, fresh bedding is provided every night. Sleeping bags tend to take up a lot of room and many hostels do not allow them.

I have found a cheap flight to Edinburgh but it doesn't leave me enough time to get to your office for check in at 8:15. Can you pick me up at the airport?

Yes. Almost all of our tours pass the airport on the way out of Edinburgh and we can easily swing in to pick you up if you land at 8.45am or earlier. Please note this on your booking form.We can also drop you off for a check-in after 6pm on our way back to Edinburgh. Just ask your guide the day before.

I'm travelling alone, will this be an issue?

Not at all. Many of our passengers come alone or with a friend or two. One of the reasons we stick with small group sizes is that everyone soon gets to know one another. Time and again we hear of people who have travelled with us becoming firm friends and travel partners - it's another reason many people like to take a tour.

Are your tours suitable for my parents?

Our tours are suitable for anyone who is up for a lively, active adventure in Scotland.
The majority of our passengers are young independent travellers but we have taken people of all ages and all walks of life and had great feedback from them.
